Intensive Sumi-Ink Painting Lessons (English) 

These lessons are designed for short-term visitors to Japan, as well as those living in Japan, who wish to study sumi-ink painting in a focused manner. They are suitable for dedicated beginners, as well as artists and illustrators, interested in developing a solid foundation and deepening their understanding of sumi-ink techniques and expression.
 

Lessons are offered as customized private sessions or small group lessons, starting from 90 minutes per session. You are welcome to take just one session, or arrange intensive lessons over one or two days. For quality and focus, a maximum of three sessions per day is offered. 

Lessons take place at the instructor’s studio in Setagaya, about 15 minutes from Shibuya by the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Yoga Station, followed by a 15-minute walk.
